Larimar is only found the Dominican Republic in the Caribbean. And the blue color and stone structure makes one imagine warm, tropical waters. I thought this beautiful blue stone would be a great ocean for a sea animal charm necklace.
I created a silver bezel with a bead wire edge. The back side is hand stamped with a small underwater scene of a fish and plants. I then added the two wax cast charms to complete the trio.
The stone setting is about 1" long by 3/4" wide. The Seahorse is 3/4" and the sand dollar is 5/8".
The necklace can be worn at 22" and 24" and has a large lobster clasp. All solid, sterling silver.
